Submission Guidelines

Welcome to the International Journal of Marketing Intelligence and Innovation (IJMII)
Manuscript Submission & Review Process

The International Journal of Marketing Intelligence and Innovation (IJMII) publishes two types of scholarly content: peer-reviewed articles and non-peer-reviewed contributions.

Our goal is to promote both rigorous academic research and timely professional insights in marketing analytics, strategic decision-making, consumer behavior, and innovation management. To serve our broad readership — including researchers, consultants, and practitioners — we clearly distinguish between these two categories.

Peer-Reviewed Articles

All peer-reviewed submissions undergo a formal double-blind review by independent academic reviewers. These manuscripts should demonstrate methodological rigor, theoretical relevance, and originality in line with the journal’s aims and scope.

Accepted peer-reviewed articles will be:

  • Clearly labeled as “Peer-Reviewed Article” on the article page and in the table of contents
  • Published with a distinct layout, visual divider, and review information
  • Assigned a DOI and made openly accessible

This article has been evaluated and accepted through a formal double-blind peer-review process.

📌 There is no publication fee for peer-reviewed articles.

Non-Peer-Reviewed Contributions

IJMII also welcomes practice-oriented pieces, case studies, expert commentaries, and conceptual essays that do not undergo formal peer review, but are assessed by the editorial team. These contributions help bridge the gap between theory and application, and provide timely perspectives on current developments in marketing intelligence and innovation.

📌 There is no publication fee for non-peer-reviewed articles.

Submit non-peer-reviewed contributions via email:

  • Collecting and organizing citations
  • Creating bibliographies automatically
  • Maintaining APA 6th formatting standards
  • Efficient collaboration and version control

We especially recommend Zotero for its open-source flexibility and integration with Word, LibreOffice, and Google Docs.
